Trees
The large and mid-format charcoal drawings of trees refer not only to the cycles of nature and the climate, but also reflect upon the experience of returning to one’s “roots”. Though the trees are depicted isolated and without leaves and in various states of deterioration, the forms remain imposing, imbued with time and memory.
